Andra Day Sings Black National Anthem at Superbowl LVIII!

Andra Day beautifully ❤️ sang "Lift Every Voice & Sing" at Superbowl LVIII’s pregame!
"Lift Every Voice & Sing" is an African American hymn with lyrics by James Weldon Johnson (1871–1938) and musically produced by his brother, J. Rosamond Johnson (1873–1954) in the late 19th century.
The uplifting song was was themed around the struggles & discrimination that Black Americans experienced during slavery, then later during the Reconstruction era & during Jim Crow where black code laws were used to further marginalize us.

LYRICS:
Lift every voice and sing,'Til earth and heaven ring,
Ring with the harmonies of Liberty;
Let our rejoicing rise
High as the listening skies,
Let it resound loud as the rolling sea.
Sing a song full of the faith that the dark past has taught us,
Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us;
Facing the rising sun of our new day begun,
Let us march on 'til victory is won!
