Our Favorite Juneteenth Cakes!

Juneteenth is a United States federally recognized holiday celebrated annually on June 19th to commemorate the final enforcement of the 1863 emancipation proclamation, abolishing slavery and emancipating African Americans on June 19th, 1865.

In addition to annual parades, individual families host Juneteenth parties featuring our favorite soul food desserts, including Juneteenth "freedom cakes".
